Ran out of Agave

Folks, I am struggling over here. I ran out of raw agave and there is no place locally that sells the "raw" agave. Luckily my new shipment will be here tomorrow (I hope). This one sweetener has been my crutch. I really like agave and as a vegan I don't use honey. Also, that stevia stuff has a bad after taste. Also tried sweetening stuff with date water and that doesn't satisfy me either. I still have a half bottle of sweet cactus farms agave from my vegan days, but it is not raw like my madhava. I can't believe I ran out.

Samuel, what about date paste? Instead of just the soak water from dates, blend the dates with water to desired consistency (thick or syrupy) and use that until your shipment of agave arrives.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I needed the agave to make a fresh batch of lemonade, the date paste darkens it. I will be fine. I am eating some dates now just to mellow me out. I ordered the mother load from madhava this time though, I shouldn't be running out again anytime soon. The problem was I was giving the bottles away to friends and just let my supply run out.

I know, I will go to the health food store and buy some brazil nuts and make a sweet coffee drink using blended dates since I don't mind if that is darkened.

Samuel can you tell me how you make that drink? I've heard they're really good but I've never had one.

exurb, here is a link that has information about the brazil milk in it. Brazil milk naturally has a coffee taste.
