Hello!
I found this site allready in summer, but just registered today. I've gathered information several months now, and finally I feel like I'm ready for it! I'm 23 yrs old girl, living in small town in southern Finland with my fiancé and our 2 rescued dogs. Animal rights and enviromental issues are very close to my heart, as well as sports.
The reason I first got interested in raw foodism is my acne and depression. My acne begun at the age of 19, and it's now worse than ever :( I used to be very in to fitnessworld, and ate what I considered a healthy diet; lots of animal protein, and very little carbs and medium amount of good fats... My skin condition still got worse and even though i stopped eating meat and dairy (for ethical reasons though), no improvement at all. My depression started to develop about a year and a half ago, and I really need to do something now.
I'm convinced that raw foods is the answer for me, especially after everything I've read. I told all this since I really need all the support I can get! I'm a diet soda -holic ( :eek: ) and just eat tons off junk food (yet vegan) nowadays, and I really want to get rid off all my bad eating habits and find the magical worl of raw foods.
