Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a disorder of the heart's electrical activity. I have a friend who for years would always have these scary blackouts, and most of the time the Dr's would say it was related to stress, or just his emotions making it happen. No real diagnosis. So a few nights ago my friend almost died after having one of these blackouts, but thanks to fast acting paramedics, they caught what was happening with my friends heart, and once at the hospital a Dr finally named what was happening all these years after being dismissed by other Dr's as simply emotions.

So I was hoping anyone may have had personal experiences with things like this, what you do, any extra info? The only thing the Dr who diagnosed this said possible pacemaker... So I'm just trying to see in Raw Land if anyone has any info? Stroies? treatments?

Thanks.

Good to see that your post was finally posted

In addition to food and lifestyle changes, AND because his condition can cause sudden death, I would advise your friend to err on the side of caution and be worked up by a competent professional.

Again, wishing your friend the very best ~ lafs

BodyTalk does great work when it comes to stuff like this. Tell him to check out a practitioner (http://www.ibaglobalhealing.com) in his area.

My hubby and I are both BodyTalk practitioners and do work with people via Skype and phone in case he decides to go with a distant session (since I don't know where he lives or if there's a practitioner in his area).

I had a lot of food allergies. All my allergies are gone now. It's a pretty amazing modality for healing. I highly recommend it. I had regular sessions for two years before becoming a practitioner.
