Embarrassing Question...

Is it possible for hemorroids to disappear while eating a raw diet. Just curious

I have sufferred from these occasionally, before raw. I was quite upset about getting them, as I did not like to think that I started falling apart with age. When I spoke to my friend about that, she just laughed it off, saying that it is normal for people my age (high 30s then) to be getting them. Just go and see a doctor and get those tablets, she suggested. Bla bla bla bla. My bottom is beautifully smooth now! No sign of anything bad. Ever!

This is just one of relieving symptoms I experienced on raw. Another big one was my reocurring yeast infections, which by the way (some people were talking here about fruit and all), got cured by me simply eating lots and lots of sweet fruit and greens (yum!).

I was curious because my sister said to me tonight live with it they never go away unless you get them cut off.

Hemmoroids are a sign of strain that usually comes with constipation and just overall pressure on the anal area.

I had that problem in the past, but not since going raw (that is unless I have eaten something I have no business eating!) That is not true that the only way is to cut them...perhaps if they are severly bad, but even then, there's probably a better way.

Witchhazel helps to soothe (and shrink) them along with using dampened tissue to blot (don't wipe or that aggravates the situation). I also read up on soaking in a warm/hot tub with drops of lavendar oil helps to soothe as well.
