Chai Seeds.......are they raw?

Hi All,

Quick question. I was wondering if chai seeds are raw and if any of you have had experience with them. They are similar to flax in that they get slimy like flax does. They are supposed to be nutrional powerhouses and super good for you but I really don't know much about them and I don't know if they are raw?

I tried searching the site but couldn't find anything on chai seeds!

here is a link to chia seeds. I read the article, then called the supplier listed. They said their seeds are organic (not certified), raw and ready to sprout or use in your recipes.
