I received some info regarding taking raw, organic apple cider vinegar for allergies on my facebook page. I had stopped taking Claritan about 2 months ago thinking being raw would be enough....WRONG!!! At least it didn't work for me. I was about to fill a prescription for Claritan the very day that I received the ACV info because I was suffering with my allergies so very much. Because I had a large bottle of Bragg's ACV, I decided I would give it a chance rather than go back on the drug.
GUESS WHAT???
3 days later and I am doing GREAT!!!
I take 1-2 oz. of ACV 3 times a day on an empty stomach and I am almost allergy free!
It's not that the season has changed either because everyone else (including my son) is suffering terribly right now!
That's my ACV miracle story!!!
Do you have one to share? :woot:

that is interesting. Do you drink it neat or dilute it? I think it would make my eyes water to drink it neat!

It's not that much different than kombucha, I don't think.

I'll try it :)
I need to get some more anyway. I get Biona as it seems to be the only raw, organic one.

I got the link to this article on my facebook page. Thankfully someone posted it before I filled my RX!

I'll have to try this. I've used ACV off and on but I've never thought about it for allergies. I usually don't have them but this year I've struggled with it off and on all summer. Thanks for posting!

Update!
I feel fantastic today!
It's been 4 straight days of ACV and I have NO allergy symptoms. My son, on the other hand, is popping pills like crazy and looks and feels terrible.
GO ACV!!!

I read the info on the link and the bit that reduces credibility for me is when it suggests baking powder if the ACV makes you feel unsettled. Baking powder is not a good thing to be introducing into the stomach. It reduces stomach acid and promotes acid reflux. In turn this has a knock on effect on the pancreatic secretions. I will still try the ACV though.

Now that i read your post, someone told me to take bee pollen of your area when you have allergy. I haven't try this and neither the apple cider but it seems interesting.
Thank you for sharing!

Bee pollen is really expensive, but I have also heard that it can help with pollen allergies.
I just got home from Whole Foods Market. I needed more Bragg's ACV and they were completely sold out! I asked someone to check in the stockroom to see
if they had any in back and I was told that people are buying it up like crazy right now! I guess others know this secret too...lol...

I am already taking the dose they recommend in my salad dressing so I won't take extra I think.

Update!
I am still taking the ACV daily and am still allergy symptom free! This is truly a miracle as everyone in Phoenix is dying right now, including my own son! I am also experiencing other wonderful benefits to taking the ACV daily.
I am so glad I found out about what ACV can do for me!

You're my hero!!! I soooo wanna be able to drink ACV like that but BLECH! I want so badly to cure my allergies but I cannot stand ACV, even diluted.
Hope this will change one day or that the allergies will disappear by some other means!

ACV has been in our household for a long time, here in FL we have so much pollen, allergies, etc. I usually dillute a bit in the morning and drink it first thing to get rid of all the acid from overnight. Then I dillute and heat it up to do inhalation for my sinus problems. And then...I also have a small spray bottle with ACV in my shower, it really does wonders for your skin! We love ACV

I use ACV off an on as well. I need to get back in the habit of having a little every morning. My WF is always out of stock on it too.
