:rolleyes: ive been trying to go raw for about a week now, some days i do 100% and other days i eat like a sumo wrestler. i really need to get a grip on this whole food thing and think that raw is the way to do that. i love fruits and vegetables and am really excited about the 30 day challange. i would love to hear people success stories for encouragement.

I totally understand about "getting the grip on this food thing".

I haven't been able to fully deal with it as much as I will deal with it this month ( just started my 3rd ). So, give yourself PLENTY of latitude as far as how much you consume ( as long as you're not making yourself terrible sick from it ), and begin to listen for the signs of true hunger, and true satiation. You might notice some patterns of either binging or emotional comfort eating ( or stuffing of feelings using food )... or a combination of other things. That's alright.. that's what your journal is for. You can talk about those those patterns you see ...and then plan on how you'll attack them as you go along.

Just don't allow yourself to get too discouraged. You're doing great!
