Hi everyone,
I started my 100% raw lifestyle change 13 days ago and I can see a small change
It seems that my waistline is slowly getting smaller but it started from the top under my rib cage and it getting smaller as it goes lower.
Please tell me where did you first notice yourself losing inches. I could use the encourging word.
Thanks!
Ann

Hi Blessed!
I did a week of raw about a month or so ago and I lost an inch on my calves! I was so surprised and pleased! Then I succumbed to cooked food and gained that inch back :( :o But I'm starting the 30 day raw challenge today! Hopefully I'll see some changes again soon :)

Ann -- I think everyone loses differently since we have not only different body types but also different starting weights, eating histories, and other variables. But .... if you want to know -- mine came off all over but most obviously in my hips, derriere and breasts, unfortunately since there wasn't much there to begin with (but I'm not trying to re-start a discussion on the desirability of large vs. small breasts -- I consider it less than optimal because both are saggier than I'd like now, and I'm anxious to get to my "true" raw weight by filling out again a bit.) But -- off topic!!! :o

First place i noticed was my face! It has slowly been losing that very slight puffy appearance, and now my cheekbones are much more prominent. then I noticed my hips getting smaller.

I had big dents in my tummy and some missing spots on my legs. Who knows where next. I am sure there will be many surprises. Doug in Calif...

The inch losses are really noticeable now after a two month finish as of Monday.
I've lost over all edema ( water retention ), so that's pretty much everywhere. But I noticed inches missing about ... oh... week two when I put on a pair of pants that previously were tight and now had a big of sag.
I love shrinking. The scale doesn't show a huge loss either, so.. you cannot rely on that ( and many people say AT ALL..).
I put on that same pair of pants yesterday, and by next month, I'll be able to pull them off at the hips. You're not supposed to be able to do that with these pants. :)
My eldest daughter, though, started shrinking immediately. I didn't realize this, but she was actually wearing some 17's. Two months later, she's now wearing loose 12's! She'll be in a good 10 next month! I can't believe this kid! ...eer... scuse me.. young woman ( my KID! ) She keeps telling me that she's done losing weight as she doesn't want to be "super skinny". I've told her time and time again, that she's not finshed shrinking because her true body figure hasn't finished emerging, and to just relax and allow her body to adjust to where it was meant to be. She's a bit upset about that because she's had a bit of a inward struggle with super tiny girls her age. I can totally understand why.
This is my girl who was very althletic thin until the onset of puberty and depression brought on by stress ( which just made the puberty worse ). She's evened out so well - that I can now enjoy her true personality, also.
Binging? Sure, she eats her incredibly well-made and stocked salads out of a mixing bowl. So ? LOL Those who eat green smoothies drink more greens than she consumes in the bowl.. so what's the diff? But, anyway... she eats as much as she wants and she's not binging. I remember when her blood sugar was going out of control.... I've seen her truly binge. That's all gone. Figure that one out.

Waist first, then tummy, then hips.
(I've lost about 30 pounds).

Thank you All,
You have no idea how happy your posts are making me feel. I can't wait to try on my old clothes and see the difference. This is day #14 it's 2 weeks. I can hardly believe it, I feel so good.
The recipes I have found on this forum have helped me to replace all my cooked recipes and I love the way they look and taste.
Thank you everyone. You have been a true BLESSING to me.

this is a fun question. We are being committed to a challenging calling-seeing "results" is part of the reward!
I've only been raw FOUR days this time around, so far, but I"m 100% committed to 100% this time around.
First I lose in my face, neck, shoulders, lower legs and legs just above knee caps. Seems I go from the outside in-but it's fun. Skin looks great-even my nose looks smaller since water retention going down.
Stick with it-it works!

You know what, I'm making a game out of it. When I watch up in the morning I try to guess which part of my body will show a change when I look in the mirror.
Thanks for the thoughtful words.

Hey blessed, I just want to say how good it is to hear you are doing so well. I first noticed in my hips, buttocks and stomach, they all seemed to go together.

Hi friends,
What type of exercise are you doing while eating raw and losing your weight?
I have a nordic track machine that I work with and I use it a couple of days a week.
