I put mine in capsules and take it that way...
Sometimes I'll just make a mix to hide the taste of spirulina. I dont like the taste of it either. OR I can mix it with flaxseed powder. When I take it, I take lots of it though.

I use Vitamineral Green raw, organic green powder and it is very tasty!

Chlorella is a much nicer tasting algae and a better supplement overall if you buy the right brand. l feel chlorella tablets might be the answer. Now, blue-green algae is more nutritious than green algae, but chlorella has a better impact on health (measured by clinical testing on people) because of the nucleic acids and unique cell wall (these two things can't be underestimated, they are the bees knees).

Mix with a fruit juice and it will taste great.

If you want to take them on their own, orange juice works really well. You can even do just shots if you don't want to spend much time juicing. Otherwise a smoothie should hide the taste of any greens, fresh or powdered, as long as you're using enough strong-flavored ingredients like bananas. I like chlorella better than spirulina in terms of flavor, though both are good health-wise.
