I love the recipe for orange cheesecake, I made it my husband is in love with me all over again.
It there any other nut I can use besides cashews for the filling? They are very expensive where I shop. Can another nut be used in it's place that will make it just as creamy?
Thanks for the help.

There is another nut that you can use..of course I am drawing a blank on which one, but someone did post about that in one of the threads.
Will search for you and post it if I find it!
I have not made that cheesecake in over a month!
It is very good!

macadamia nuts can be used...probably pine nuts too. But both of those can also be pricey. Maybe walnuts since they're a soft nut...but I'm not sure how the flavor will be affected. OR...maybe you can use some cashews mixed with another nut like walnut or something.
Oh Rawpriestess...where art thou?
