HI

I am hoping that there is a pate' that can be made with little or no nuts?? I am deathly allergic to nuts. I seem to be able to handle some soaked almonds or sunflower seeds. I am also sensitive to tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplants etc....so nothing with them can work.

This is my 3rd day of 100% raw and am looking for something to put in lettuce leaves. I am a mushy food type of eater so I am looking to satisfy that comfort for the Fall and Winter.

Thanks in advance,
JMD

I make a pate using equal parts soaked sunflower seeds and chopped carrots. Put those two things in your food processor (I use around 2 cups each), and then start flavoring it up. My favorite things to add in are cloves of garlic, scallions, soaked sundried tomatoes (can omit if you are sensitive to them), nutritional yeast, sea salt, and red pepper flakes. I think pates are pretty fun to make as they are hard to mess up. Just start with the seeds and carrots and keep tasting it as you add things in and adjusting it until you like it.

Good luck on your pate adventure!! :D

Make some guacamole! Mash avocado up with your favorite spices and chopped veggies! That is a super yummy lettuce wrap! =)

yeahbethany---I do like avocado--a little burnt out on them though and I just wanted something more pate'-ish.
