I found out I had an abnormal pap smear which prompted me to make some lifestyle changes. For the last month and half I have been trying to transition into raw/vegan. I have been doing pretty well. Most of the week I have been raw or sometimes cooked vegan however I had been eating organic chicken and salmon a bite or two maybe once or twice a week with the desire for animal products becoming repulsive, no red meat and eating cheese maybe once a week still but working on eating less and less of these. I lost 10 pounds just doing that and using the rebounder 5 minutes a day. I have also been taking supplements a multivitamin, 1000mg vit d, aloe vera caps and natural vitamin c and drinking alkaline 8.5ph water.
Two days ago I developed a 102 temp with chills and body aches and upper stomach indigestion. I don't know what to think, is this due to the diet change, the vitamins, the alkaline water? It kind of threw me off and because I find raw food to be so filling I found that I just couldn't get myself to eat it with the indigestion I was feeling. I have fallen off the wagon these two days. My mom made me chicken soup which I ate and felt better afterwards, I also was drinking regular spring water again I felt that my body was telling me to drink that instead of the alkaline water. Am I having some sort of healing crisis that I just needed to stick through? Can alkaline water cause this or vitamins? I know that baking soda is alkaline and I had a bad reaction to baking soda/coconut oil deodorant so I wonder if the alkaline water could cause a similar reaction internally? I also stopped taking all my supplements which were supposed to help with the abnormal pap, not sure if I should start taking them again. Any advice? Thanks.
