Does anyone know how to make raisins from fresh grapes? I placed whole grapes in my dehydrator for long hours and the grapes remained intact.

I remember someone posting the same question once and if i remember correctly, it would take more then one day of dehydration. I would be curious if someone else post with a success story. Maybe if you are patient and cut the grape in half, it would take only an overnight dehydration. Just a thought!
I've tried making raisins in my dehydrator and finally gave up (same with dehydrating cranberries). A couple weeks ago, I saw these teensy "champagne grapes" and the label said they were 'raisin grapes' - - they were about the size of a green pea. Hmmm....

Thanks for responding. I guess I better stay with fresh grapes for the time being until someone reports a success story on making raisins.
Hi Joyce ~ Just a little side note - our Costco carries organic Sun Maid brand raisins at a very good price. Just tossing that in for what it's worth.
I've got my dehydrator full of tomatoes from our garden right now. It's the second load and I have another deh. full waiting for tomorrow when these are done.
Love our dehydrator!
