Hello, I just have a really quick question. Is it okay to eat soaked lentils that haven't sprouted?
I always sprout mine anyway, but someone was asking me today if it's okay to just eat them after they had been soaked overnight, and haven't sprouted yet.

They need to start sprouting a little at least. Once they do, they become live food. It doesn't take long to sprout, it is worth the wait.

Lentils should be sprouted for at least 4-5 days to get the uric acid and other nutrient inhibitor down to minimum levels. Only soaking lentils and not sprouting them would make them a huge burden on the digestive system and they would rob you of many nutrients as well.

Exactly.
