YES, headaches, are definitely detox, I am so sorry you are going through this, you can drink lots of water, which helps to hydrate you and also to allow the toxins to flow out of your body, if you can get to a dry sauna, that helps alot, i.e. the sweating and then shower off, sweat, shower, sweat shower, and lots of water in, to help with all the sweating out.

I think this was the number one reason I didn't have too bad of detox, was because I was using my dry sauna at least once a day.

Also, rest, and nap, and no TV, no light, just meditate and relax, and allow the toxins to go away.

ugh, I know that feeling well. Moist heat on your head will relieve the painful pressure. A hot water bottle or preferrably one of those rice or buckwheat filled bags that you heat in the microwave applied to your eyes and forhead are a great relief. You can add essential oil. Lavendar is wonderfully smoothing.

Also, an enema will help you feel better very quickly, as it helps release toxins.
As RP said, lots of water and lots of sleep. ANyone there that can massage you?

Hang in there! Life is grand the other side of detox. You will come out in a whole new place. Keep us posted and hope it passes quickly.

Warmly~

Like RP, I've had very minor detox through my journey with raw. I think it is because of how much I sweat. I don't have a suana, but I live in a dry desert and exercise a lot and sweat a lot I also drink over 2L of water a day besides all my water filled fruit.

Take heart though, I think headaches are something we all get in the beginning. Just like with a coffee addiction when you give up things your body responds. Give it time and get lots of rest.

Before I was 100 percent raw, I, too, had migraines. One Month after all raw, they went away. I suffered with them for years and I couldn't go on without taking Advil (just two) and then laying down in a dark room with heat on my head until it went away.

May I suggest if the pain gets too bad, that you take pain relief of some sort. Don't know about you, but I believe there is a reason we have pain meds. and if I needed them, I still would take them. My goodness, why suffer such horrendous pain when you don't have to? At the first sign of a headache coming on, I would take the Advil because if I waited untill the pain was so advanced I became nauseated and dizzy, it was too late. Then the Advil didn't work.

Sorry you have this painful condition. Hopefully your new diet will change things?
