I have been raw near philly for about 6 months now. I have been looking for raw places to eat for a while. I would like to make a list in this thread. Please help me to populate it.

http://www.oasislivingcuisine.com/

I stumbled on this place by accident while searching the web. I have not visited yet, but I well edit this post with a review when I do. Food sounds good.

I know this is a silly list of 1 right now, but I hope to see the list grow.

Thanks in advance for sharing.

This isn't Philly, but you're close enough to maybe want this info:
If you ever head into Baltimore, try Liquid Earth. YUM-O. It's in Fells Point which is a fun place.

http://www.liquidearth.com/

They have both raw and cooked stuff. I got a raw 'burger' there and it was fabulous. Everyone in my family (including my extremely picky SAD parents enjoyed their meals - my dad even ate raw and ate every single thing on his plate.

Did you ever go to Oasis? I've been meaning to go there, but I live near Newark, DE so it's a bit of a hike for me. If it's good it may be worth the trip! =)

Yeah, we did finally go. It was a while ago. I think I had a collard wrap (very good) and my wife had raw sushi (I think it was carrot-based). We got the little guy tortilla chips and humus (not raw, but still healthy imo). I did see a couple of non-raw items on their menu (I guess to appease the masses). They have a little store where you can buy just about anything raw that you'd buy online. From chia seeds to raw cacao to spiralizers - they had it all. Also, the desserts - OH MY! They have a fluffy raw cheesecake and these awesome raw truffles.

I also found out about two other places in the area (nothing near me, sadly but worth a road trip):

Raw Can Roll Cafe in Wayne, PA:

I'm not sure where Wayne is to be honest, but I know it's down there somewhere. I haven't been yet, but I've heard it's good.

Arnold's Way in Lansdale, PA

This one is about as close to Philly as MD is - haha. It's further north (closer to us). I haven't been to this one either. Supposedly, it's a restaurant or a juice bar or something. It seems to be much more though. They have support groups and stuff like that. I'm not really sure on this one, but I should go down and check it out.

Thanks for sharing about Liquid Earth. We love road trips. We only need an excuse! We may go check it out. It sounds yummy.

You should definitely check out Arnold's Way. It's more like a raw community than a mere restaurant.
Here's Arnold's youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/ArnoldsWay/videos?view=0

They also have a raw potluck dinner event every 3rd Saturday of the month. That looks like fun, but the next one is 4 weeks away.

This coming Saturday morning he has a raw food prep class from 8:15am to 9:45am. You need to RSVP for it.
Details here: http://www.arnoldsway.com/events.htm

Yeah, I need to get down there. Multiple times, I have read about it online and stumbled on their youtube videos.

Hmmm... Haven't heard of Arnold's Way - it looks like it's about an hour and a half from me, so definitely doable. The website is intriguing. Have you been to the potlucks? Or the classes?

I have never been to Arnold's Way, but I subscribe to his youtube channel, and I've seen a lot of his videos, so in a way it feels like I have been there.

From what I've seen, the food looks somewhat simple yet good, and not overly pricey. Great positive vegan vibe going around. Looks like a great place to go for a meal and to hang out. Makes me kind of wish I lived in Pennsylvania - got ancestors from there, New Holland way.
