There is a special offer on figs and honeyberries (type of blueberry). I'm excited to order some on Monday. Fresh-picked fruit is so much nicer and being an expensive item to buy in shops especially organically they should pay for themselves quite quickly.

You mean on buying the shrubs? Where do you order these if that's the case?

Thanks,

Mary Kay

the special offer is in grow your own magazine but I can also recommend Ken Muir nurseries from purchases I made in the past for raspberry, Silvanberry and asparagus plants. I can often get a magazine with free seeds on the cover (rarely organic though) and the cost of the magazine is less than I would have spent on the seeds that came free.

1 fig tree
2 small blueberry plants
4 Honeyberry plug plants.

£36.56 including carriage & VAT :)

I'll need to get some compost of the right pH so I'll call it £40.00
With blueberries costing about £7.00/kg (not organic), £19.00/kg (organic) and figs £0.50 and up EACH, this should be a good investment.
