I have had troubles with TIA's . I am wondering if there are people here that have the same problems? The Dr's tell me they can only keep an eye on them. Well, I have talked to a lot of people who have been told the same thing. All at once they have a big one, they end up not being able to walk or talk right. Then the Dr's tell them "again" that they will keep an eye on them.
If you have had help doing the Raw diet please let me know. I am at my last nerve about this :( Thanks

Yes, I've had TIAs and they are precursors to major strokes. Have any of these "drs" tried to determine the cause of yours (IE plaque, clots, etc)? Any number of things can predispose you to them, and am just wondering what workup, if any was done??

Every test they could give me has been done. Thousands of dollars worth only to be told they will keep an eye on them.

Are TIA's similar to seizures? Now, I don't really know much about this, but am just taking a stab at it.....Women do get seizures during the time of the month when their progesterone is at its lowest. Might be interesting to correlate when you have gotten them. If your progesterone is too low to begin with, there can be a host of other problems as well this helping to induce a seizure.
Again, lmk if I'm totally off base here.....with the seizure TIA correlation.
Best of luck to you.

Surprised they didn't prescribe an anticoagulant - I'm currently taking one and am being closely followed up by several drs. Thus far the definitive tests for me have been the CTA and TEE.

What's a TIA?
Transient Ishemic Attack or "mini stroke"

Just wanted to add that about 30% of the time doctors can't tell why a person has had a TIA, even with all the sophisticated testing out there.
As with all medications, anticoagulants have their own list of serious side effects, so perhaps your doctors have wisely decided on "the wait and see" approach.
Whatever the cause, the living food diet is the best food plan to be on.

They are mini-strokes. To date I have had 5.. I am over 65 years young so I am sure it has nothing to do with the time of the month lol, but thanks

I know because I saw a Nero Specialist, she showed me on my tests. like I had said before, they have given me loads of tests. Now, I am going to take matters in my own hands and do what I can for myself.
I have fallen face first in the middle of a busy road and broken teeth, cracked my head open, torn my knee to the bone, had a concussion fro 5 month. My last time was in June.
Thanks for the nice words walnutty, good genes and good food. That picture was taken about 5 years ago. Got a new camera so when I find batteries I will put up a new picture, can't stay young forever and the new pictures will prove it.
Now, I feel young inside and look older inside lol.
You look like you are 20 in your picture, keep up the good work.
