Hello!

I am 23, 174cm tall and weight 110kg! I ideal weight would be in the 70's... my whole life I have been overweight... had problems with binge eating and a feeling of lack of control. I have tried and then given up I have always wanted to be fit and healthy and have a body I was confident with. After watching 'Fat, sick and nearly dead' I have been considering doing a juice fast. I have brought a juicer and have been using juice along with my normal diet and can already feel the benefits. I want to go completely juice though. I have been struggling to stay away from the bad foods though. I give in usually late at night studying and tell myself I will start properly the next day. Its a never ending cycle of failure and is rather depressing. I so badly want to get down to a healthy ideal weight but it seems so far away. Like in reality it will never happen. I would love to hear some tips on how to stick with it and also if you have successfully lost a large amount of weight through juicing I would love to hear about it.

Thanks for taking the time out to read this.

Hi welcome to the forums!

If you plan on eating raw vegan for a life style you will find it is easy to lose weight without even trying if you are very over weight. That being said you don't have to go on a juice fast to lose weight faster, simply eating 100% raw whole fruits, vegetables and nuts/seeds when you have cravings will lead you to a healthy life style! Some people have lost 20pounds in their first month of being raw but I found you can quickly put that weight back on if you go back to cooked foods. I think being raw is more of a lifestyle choice that is hard to make but will lead you to happiness :)

Good luck! :throwhearts::cheer:
