I am trying to do a 30 day juice fast. The first 10 days, I was drinking mostly fruit juice like watermelon, apple, cucumber and cherry juice. But I got diarrhea from the cherry juice, because of the high sorbitol content. I have also heard that doing too much sugary fruit juices during a juice fast can cause yeast and acids to proliferate in the blood. I am on day 11 of the juice fast, and I am now deciding to switch to only low sugar fruits and vegetable juices.

The list that that I know of that alkaline juices consist of are lemons, limes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and almost all the vegetables except carrots and beets.

I am only looking for alkaline fruits or those that are low sugar.

Can coconut be used on a juice fast? If so, should I buy Whole Foods coconut water or should I extract the juice from fresh coconuts myself?

Can nut milks be used for juice fasting?

Are bell peppers considered great in an only green juice/alkaline juice fast?

Should avocados be used in juice fasting?

It isn't recommended to do a fruit juice fast. They are very purging and you need their fiber. Doing a juice with cucumber etc... is fine but doing it with grape, it could be intense,..... You can give a try, and if you feel that this is working for you, then you do what is right for you.

Berries has low sugar.

Most fruits unless they aren't ripe, will give you an alkaline body.

Cranberries are of the exception

Coconut water is highly nutritious, so yes....

If you have no concern with Nightshade fruits, then ok use the red bell pepper. I love them and eat them often.

Nut milk will slow down the detox, not recommended for fasting.

Use the avocado, only if you want to slow down the detox, again, they aren't recommended during fasting.
