So do You make the juice in the morning and drink it all day? Do you ever drink the same juicefor a few days? I'm just trying to plan for my fast I'm starting aug 1. I'm gathering a few recipes I want to try and making my shopping list.

Help? :). I want to succeed!

Also, joe cross says fruit juices in the Morning. I've read to start green juices in the morning. I'm so confused. I'm researching, there's just so much conflicting information!

If you are new to juicing you may find that you can manage fine with stored juice at least for a while. While it's fine to drink just one type of juice for a single day you will probably prefer to vary it a little. Green juices are great though usually take a bit of getting used to. Worth persevering.Take a look in the fasting forum. There are lots of recipes and plenty of advice and experience there.

I work at an office, so when I am juice fasting, I make a big batch the night before and split into several containers. I might do a fruitier one for breakfast, then a few greener containers. I usually do 4 decent sized containers and take three to the office and leave one in the fridge for 'dinner', drinking three throughout the day at work. So juice each night...drink all within 24 hours. On the weekends I juice as desired unless I need to run errands and then I juice extra and carry in a cooler with ice packs.

Hippo2Hippie, based on your level of enthusiasm you will succeed, you remind me of myself when I first discovered juicing!

I pretty much echo back the same thing that rawintexas and MysticTree say. If schedule permits I make the juices fresh and consume them shortly after. This always is the case with my breakfast juice regardless if I work that day or not, the one I make only takes me 10 minutes including clean up. As far as my lunch and dinner juices, I make them ahead of time when I work and store them in a dark insulated container.

As far as the fruit/veggie juice thing. I start with fruit and have veggie later. My basis was the same as yours, joe cross said it, and also there was an email I saw awhile back that said to not eat fruit after anything else because it will just sit on top of the other food fermenting. I'm not sure if this is true or not but once I heard it from two different sources it just became the way I did things.

I would switch things up when you first start, after you get into it (2-3 weeks) fasting is just life, and you might not need the diversity. When I reached this mark I didn't need to switch my juices up then again I'm the type of person that will watch the same movies over and over again and still love them. :^)

Here's the grocery list I have saved on my phone:
7-celery bushels
11-lemons
21-cucumbers
7-kale bushels
21-green apples
4-strawberries sm/medium containers
7-oranges
7-pears
I try to go once a week and I always have stuff left over. My numbers are based off 3 veggie juices per day and one fruit juice per day. After the first week your stomach capacity will shrink and you may need less. You will have left have leftover celery. Also I highly recommend trying a strawberry/pear and orange juice. It's sooo good! The recipe is half a carton of strawberries, 1 orange, 1 pear.

I tend to drink the same juice all day. I make it once a day.

I actually started last thursday when my juicer came.i wanted to try a carrot apple juice and loved it. So lunh came around and I wanted to experiment again and did. Hehe. So I just thought yanno, I'm halfway through the day, might as well do dinner too. Do today is day 6. I'm doing really well. It's really not hard. At least not yet. I'm finding some recipes that I love, and making some of my own that have been winners too! And energy! I really haven't experienced any detox aside from the metallic taste in my mouth today and a weak flu like feelin on day 2.

Oh that juice sounds delightful! Is that the breakfast one you were talking about?

I made a really yummy one last night and another one today;
2 carrots
2 apples
2 oranges
1/2 beet
1 lemon

6apples
3 small stalks celery
1lemon
Huge pc ginger
Wheatgrass and spinach

I also love
1 pineapple
Water from 1 young cocOnut
Spinach
1 lemon
1 lime. Could be fine wo the lime. Or maybe half of it.

I drink really green ones too. :D

Yes that's the breakfast one I love lol! I'm gonna have to try that coconut one. Another one I really like is pineapple and ugly fruit (also called unique fruit, the taste is in between the sweetness and sourness of an orange and a grapefruit) it makes a lot of juice and is delicious!
