New to site

I am new to the site and thinking about joining the 30 day challenge that will start on August 1st. But looking at the blogs/forums it seems like people are using this site to advertise their business. Is that what this site is for?

Welcome I am new as well, just joined today. I dont think people are supposed to advertise their business, but I dont think it hurts to say what you do... :) but I have only been a member for 10 minutes.. lol
