I was thinking.. if there was a website one can be truly raw herbs as there seems most if not all herbs are air dried using higher than raw temperatures. I would say an herb is raw if dried at temps below 106-115F. And aged might be preferred for some of them. So.. I was just thinking about it.. wouldn't be a great idea to learn how to process herbs so that they can be consumed raw?

Like.. I was thinking about this idea that is similar to yerba mate: you get some herbs, dry them, age them if that's what you're looking for.. and then one can use some dessicated coconut pieces. Put them in a gourd and lukewarm water, and drink it like a cold brewed tea.

Is there really a source of truly raw herbs though? It seems I would have to grow them on my own.

I think Mountain Rose Herbs has a lot of raw herbs. I've never ordered any - I thought about it at one point, but now I don't bother because I'm too healthy to care about taking herbs.

Still interested in some adaptogens, though, I may grow some myself at some point. I don't want to buy herbs online because they wouldn't be fresh (even if they were raw), but my diet is so high-quality that eating something that isn't fresh would be a much bigger deal then for someone who mainly eats store-bought produce and the like. So they might help you.
