This is a dressing I enjoy:

1 1/3 c EVO
1 c balsamic vineagar
1/3 c raw honey
3-4 cloves garlic
1-2 small onions
pinch of red pepper flakes

It's pretty good. Adjust the garlic/red pepper to your liking depending on how much "bite" you like.

I usually just use raw, org olive oil, balsamic vinegar and agave nectar.

Does the honey work too? OR does it make it taste too much like honey?

It depends how raw you want to be because balsamic vinegar isn't raw which is a pity coz it makes nice dressings.

You can adjust honey to your liking...It's sweet...but the red pepper flakes and garlic balance it and give it a little bite.

So, no vinegar is raw? Never been 100% raw though.

ACV is generally allowed on raw diets but lemon juice is the best raw ingredient to use instead of vinegar. Cheap balsamic vinegar is made to taste better by simmering it. I don't think ACV is treated in this way though it may be flash pasteurised.

Bragg's has a raw, organic apple cider vinegar. But *** that balsamic tastes so good!!!

If a salad is supposed to be raw and use basalmic, i will get sick because i don't have the tolerance for that anymore.

Replace your dressing with either apple cider vinegar or raw red grape vinegar. I like many time, to simply use a citrus versus the vinegar.

As of now, I'm still tolerating some unraw condiments and I do use balsamic, but the bulk of the food I eat is raw. My body may reject it in the future. and I know we shouldn't use honey, but dang it's good.

honey is fine unless you don't want to eat it because it's not vegan. Alissa is cool with honey unless she changed her mind since her first book came out.

I just read a recipe that used balsamic vinegar and the writer says some balsamic can be raw. No brand was mentioned but I will try to find out.

Raw food rehab on facebook. Sorry but my mobile won't let me pick up the link.
