blending pistachios

Anyone ever try blending pistachios into a smoothy? They are one of the softer nuts and I was think about soaking them in almond milk prior.

No, I've never tried blending them into a smoothie. I do use them in recipes though, but typically in the food processor for dehydrator recipes. They're really pricey here, so I don't have them often.

Pistachios are such a beautiful nut, I would personally hate to waste them in a smoothie! RAW pistachio fudge comes to mind when I think of these beauties! Ü
