I was RAW from for 1 year i was vegan for about 6 months and Vegetarian for 1 year in the oposit order
To be honest i don't remember the full reason i stopped and started eating cooked and then went back to meats also
i think it had to do with a depression time i was having but i can't blame it on that
i don't think

I felt healthier i was actually down to 5,9 302 pounds
before i went vegetarian i was up around 390 pounds had trouble making flights up the stairs back hurt all the time was on pain meds for it
now after going of raw and eating meats again and all no matter how much i work out and try to be healthy im up at over 402
im not happy
i was happier on raw i think and i am going to work my way back there

i think in another week i will cut out turkeys and chicken
and then a few weeks after that ill get myself of of fish also
exsept i did hear that it is ok to have Shashimi since it is uncooked it can still be considered on the RAW but is this not true ? or is it true ?

Get Alissa's dvd, you will go cold Turkey with raw food. Your health needs raw vegan food now.

You need to read about these protein myth, i think you have fear that you will become weak if you go with vegan. The truth, it will be the opposite.

Ditch the animal food all together now and transition with steam vegetables instead and perhaps cook legume but ditch what make you sick. Nothing good come from dead flesh. Don't do dairy or egg either, it is so mucus forming.

You should consider to watch a diet for all reason or any dvd to give you the faith that vegan is the way, especially raw vegan.

All the best !

Welcome back!! I started my raw journey back then as well, and also strayed back into cooked foods - I am back to raw now and LOVING it! I wish you all successes in your journey :)

thank you for the support
i am now off all cooked turf meats im just having trouble giving up fish but im going to be there in another week i think
also i am happy because i did read and i belive that i don't have to give up all fish like i can still eat my favorit white tuna and salmon shashimi since its not cooked

i also just ordered a Juicer today
i went to walmart hoping to be able to find it in the store
but they only had one in stock and i wasn't spending 150 on a juicer

So i went online and ordered a Hamilton Beach Brand 800w juicer
im hoping that its as good as the reviews lead it on to be
i know my first juice im planning on makeing is going to be a Tomato celery radish carrots and a little bit of lemon

First i want to say, that you need to honor your journey and for this i applaud you.

But you may want to watch out with raw flesh stuff because of PARASITES. Our body isn't design to eat raw meat, the carnivores are because they have a very acid digestive enzyme and their guts are short. You truly don't need the dead animal or dead fish sweet heart, truly don't. If you aren't ready to give that up then fine and make peace with it but if you are seeking for youth, beauty and freedom, then you have to let that go. You cannot give life with dead food ever. You can make amazing and delicious raw vegan sushi....

All the best!
