Pedal/treadal powered juicers and gadgets

I was looking at plans for a treadle powered lathe for woodworking and I decided to take a look at what kind of applications I could figure out for manual juicers, vegetable shredders and all manner of useful gadgets. So I thought I would start a thread to let you know what I have found so far and see what others can come up with.

One of the niftiest designs I found was a pedal powered wheat grinder. Not that that many people here need to grind wheat, but I really like the way they used the built in flywheel on that exercise bike. I'm thinking this setup could be adapted to power all sorts of juicers, blenders etc.

Next up, we have a pedal powered mulcher. The other day I mentioned that I was thinking of getting an electric wood chipper you use in conjunction with my homemade juice press but I think this might actually fit the bill a little better. Some of the comments from the peanut gallery on youtube suggested adding bike gears and a flywheel for a better gear ratio and more power through thicker sticks. This one , I think, has an awful lot of potential with a few design changes.

I think a skateboard or inline or roller blade wheel would make more sense than trying to drill a tractor tyre.

One of the blenders I saw was designed to be powered while you are actually moving on the bike. It didn't seem very practical to me because you are not going to blend anything for as long as it would take you to get anywhere. A washing machine would, however be a different story. It could be built into a small tank that rolls behind your bike and resembles a lawn roller. This would slow you down but it would be an incredibly simple design and would be more fun than riding in place the whole time your laundry is going.
