Hi all, I'm going to do a 5 day fast from the 21st to 25th of June. Took leave off work and I'm going to spend most of the time in the spa-gym I have.

Any tips guys?

I really need to fast because of overeating; menstrual problems; etc.

and also I want to lose some of the annoying 8 kg I put on after my overeating. Anyone got any tips? I've got a pretty fast metabolism and i'm a girl; anyone know what I'll lose for these 5 days or so?

You will lose water. Then when you stop fasting you'll regain that weight and more. Take a longer view. First choose a raw vegan diet. When your body has got used to that you can ease into and out of a fast then back to raw. That way lies the most healthful and long term solution.

it all depends on what you plan on eating after your fast. if it's a SAD diet then yes you will most likely gain it back.

i disagree with mystic, you won't just lose water.
