Greetings everyone from down under! Today is my first day of my commitment to do 100% raw. I just finished reading Alissa's book (in two days--couldn't put it down!) and watching her DVD and I have been so inspired to be able to do this. Before I was so discouraged with all the complicated and scientific books and recipes but Alissa makes it so simple and she is such a beautiful inspriration of what this way of life is all about.
I am originally from the US but now living in Australia and been here for about a year now. There are not nearly as many resources for raw foodists here but there are gradually starting to be more. I would love to get in contact with some people doing this diet--both new raw foodists and the experts out there.
It's more difficult when you don't know anyone around you eating 100% raw foods, or even really 50% for that matter! I would be happy to just find another vegan person. :)
