I started to become vegan a couple of months back (about 4 months total). I'm really liking it and have great ambition/energy and always just wanted to try eating pure natural foods. Since I have lost 30 lbs and I was at a weight of 175. So its funny how being more and more raw is the top religion practice you can get to. I just wonder because every time I start reading I get more and more in depth with vegetarian then vegan then 50% raw vegan then 90% raw. Is that when you cant get any better and that's when everybody is just like "wow he is 90% raw person (what a crazio thinkin like that)". I'm trying to say that the more and more in depth with this I get the weirder I feel about being around other people when they want to ask how and why I became this raw of a vegan. There is reason behind it but it was a long process before deciding which is just like a religion that you'd want to believe in but it took a long time to study and decide. I just wonder if other people ever get this feeling cause its kind of starting to weird me out and i honestly don't know how to get over it. I'm not trying offend anyone, I'm just looking for advice. Thanks!

I think I forgot about the people that sprout the seeds to release the enzymes. I dont disagree with this at and want to do it, but when I'm with my family/friends they just think that it has to stop somewhere. It's not that I'm practicing that to the extreme extent but sometimes it feel like family/friends feel that way. It's just something that happens and it'd be nice if it didnt.

I think it's just something that affects some people more than others and indicative of a personality type. I think the longer you are raw the more balanced this should become as long as you are eating a good variety of raw foods.

Perhaps, you mean that you become more and more passionate and intrigue by this.

You are naturally guided to freedom, sweet heart and the truth.

We cannot suppress our body any longer, it is a live being seeking for your gratitude and wise choice to keep you vibrant of health, happy and free.

Enjoy your journey!

If I am hearing you right you are feeling "weird" when family and friends start talking to you about your lifestyle choice of raw foods. I hear things like "you can eat that or are you one of those purist" as if it is bad when I pass up SAD chips with really good fresh salsa. I think with anything, when others see one doing something that is obviously good for them and can't reconcile their own behavior they tend to try and poo poo it. It is human nature to tear down someone else to make themselves feel better. I always say "I am doing something that has made me feel better, look healthier, and has given me more energy so it is not a matter of being a purist or radical...I'm just being kind to myself". The longer time goes by the more your friends and family will accept. You can also point out that boyfriend plays the guitar every chance he gets, neighbor has a lawn that looks immaculate and he is always working on it, sister is a complusive neat freak, so we all have things we do that satisfies our soul. This happens to be yours at this time. I hope I didn't ramble too much and addressed maybe what you were asking. Sorry if this was long.

Don't worry about it so much. People will ask you questions and criticise because what you're doing is not the norm. People are frightened of things that are new, especially things that challenge their beliefs about something as essential and basic as food.

My advice would be to answer their questions to a point (you decide - 1 question per person, 5 per person, 30 minutes of questions, etc) and then tell them "you know, I'd love to hear more about what's going on in your life right now. If you want to know more about my lifestyle, I can email you some links with plenty of information."

And when you do answer questions, think of it this way - you are introducing people to a way of life that they may otherwise never have encountered! Just be your positive, happy self and maybe you'll help change a few lives :heart
