Hi everyone! I finally got brave and pulled out my omega juicer that I got off craigslist, and discovered that I did have all the parts to juice with it. Bought some little 'pint' sized trays of wheatgrass from the health food store ($2.99 each!!) and this morning we did our first shots. Each 1-oz shot, though, took an entire little tray (again, pint-sized, probably 4"x4"), so those were pretty spendy shots. I will start growing my own, but in the meantime, can I let the grass grow up again and get a second cutting? I am guessing it won't be as nutritious as the first cutting, but it sure would help cut down the cost per shot until I can get a system set up to grow my own.

Thanks!

yes it'll grow more

i just buy wheat by the pound at local bulk store at about $1 per then rake up a 4x4 area in garden - broadcast - rake in - two weeks later grass is like 5' and ready to cut

as easy to grow of seed as there is , very vigorous
