Hurraw

Hi,
Does anyone know if Costco has any raw nuts? I met a raw woman and she swears that Costco has 25 lb bags of almonds. But, are they raw? I don't have a Costco membership, otherwise I would go and look myself.
Thanks!

Let me add... They aren't roasted, but they sit out (not refrigerated), and they don't say that they are raw.. Hummmmm...

If you are in USA then almonds are pasteurised by law. As long as heat has been used (rather than chemicals) then as long as they sprout - and crazy though that sounds some do - then I would eat them.
I am a *huge* Costco fan. We buy the lion's share of our produce for eating this way @ Costco.
I have never seen raw nuts -or- 25# bags of almonds. But setting nuts to the side - there is SO much we buy there, I would recommend going with a friend who's a member and taking a good look at what's offered there. I buy more than the fresh produce like organic quinoa, organic SunMaid raisins, frozen fruit for smoothies to name a few.
Just went yesterday and bought fresh: raspberries, blueberries, corn on the cob (they also have organic frozen corn, beans and peas), organic spinach, organic salad greens, baby cucumbers, organic carrots, champagne mangoes, cantelopes, watermelons, Haas avocados..... (love my Costco!!)
