It was truly huge. Very delicious though not air-mile friendly. I love the taste of papaya. It's subtle but wonderful.

This is one of those fruits that i cannot eat unless i mix it with something else. Such banana or make Alissa's Salmon steak.

Maybe i should give a try to see if my body changed toward it, lol...

I am glad that you enjoyed your breakfast because it was a choice by excellence.

All the best!

Sadly they only had one in the shop or I'd have had another for supper!

Um . . . I didn't think anyone would want a picture. It was a fairly ordinary looking papaya really apart from its size. About the size of a small melon.

I had a giant papaya for lunch yesterday! SO YUMMY. I love cutting into them as I think the seeds are just beautiful! I feel with summer coming on my body is craving more and more fruit.

I might try papaya and mango with something as a salad dressing as I love the creamy texture....hmmm

I love papaya!I had some with coconut & blackberries for lunch. It's hard to get them.Their usually either sold out or theirs 2 left that's overripe when I try to get some.So I usually get as many as I can when their in stock.I bought 12 one week lol

I can't really afford giant papayas from the supermarket; they are £5 each but this one was half price. They are usually cheaper if I get them from the Asian stores but there isn't one near me at the moment.

Delicious! I can luckily get them here for under $4 and they are big. I love them by themselves or frozen and used in smoothies. They lend a very smooth and silky texture.

Yeah, i'd rather have weed juice and bird seed sprouts for my breakfast any day of the week.

btw Mystic Tree, are you now juicing the wheatgrass?

I hope day you'll try one that actually reflects the true taste of one. One day i'd love to be able to eat one straight off a tree.

I need to have one prepared for me by somebody who knows what it should taste like.
I really want to visit the tropics to try out all of their groovy fruit. But that won't be happening any time soon. This fall will be my first semester of college, and by December 31st, I'll be $10,000 in debt -__-

I'm 41 and never been abroad so I don't suppose it will happen for me either any time soon.
