In my intro I mentioned that I like to eat very, very simple. What are some of your meal plans like?

Find recipe to simulate a rice cake (raw vegan version). You know this isn't raw and the more you choose 100% raw food for you, the best it is. I would get Alissa's dvd if i was you, she is amazing and totally creative. Many has reported to love her book. I am visual, i love her book but because i am visual, i tend to go with dvd's

Just to add to RawAngelMom...try to add in a daily Green juice or Smoothie. Greens are SO important in our bodies! Lately, I've been having just Green Juice first thing on my stomach about 11am. Not into eating breakfast anymore...:
Greens (rotate Kale, Collards, Spinach, and Romaine). Celery or Cucumber. 1/2 of a Lemon (which cuts the "green" flavor), inch of Ginger, and 2-3 Pink Apples.
Try it! You'll love it!!!
I'm good with fruit till later in the day.

If I crave any food I'll eat raw foods, drink water instead or exercise to get my mind off it. If it's something tempting to me I resist at all costs. I think of how I will ruin my body inside & out. That is my motivation right there. I can't give in to temptation! Sometimes I forget to eat & that's ok too. I never reach for seconds. I try to eat slowly & drink water inbetween bites. Life isn't about food. I want to stay healthy & fit inside & out. I'm also not into recipes. I really could care less. Food is just survival for me. At times I feel there is no point to food & eating. The purer the better which is why I eat the way I do. The reason for my attitude. If I could get away with NOT EATING I would. I just don't care for food much anymore. I thought about consuming just veg/fruit juices. That would be a better direction for me I think personally. Who knows what the future holds.

I don't do meal plans. I just like to eat what I like to eat. I like eating and see no reason to wear a hair shirt when it comes to food and that applies doubly for raw.

Food is just survival for me.
Well, you are where many of us wish to be,lol.... Meaning, eating simple and as close to mother nature is so balance and healing. In this regards, i recommend that you search for Dan McDonald. He has many simple recipe and juice recipe.
But again, if you go with Alissa's dvd, you will see it is no big deal to make your own food when you crave for comfort food because your rice cake are nothing more then comfort and feed addiction.
Again, Rice cake are comfort food to keep you in the cook food world but if this help you to transition to a more balance diet, then so be it.
I know you don't care for recipe, but it is far easier to prepare your own versus doing the rice cake. Truly, no big deal. Nothing good in this rice cake except to clog your digestive system and slow down your healing. If you don't want to prepare food, you can find raw food already prepared on line and even visit your health food store.

Ummm, the recipe I gave you is for a green JUICE, not a Smoothie. You can mix anything that you want in your Juice...just important to get some Greens in there.
I read your original post and saw how Greens were missing... Too bad you edited that out....

I have the same issue. Preparing food is so time consuming normally. Add dehydration, food processing, blending, etc etc, you're looking at a lot of time!
My solution is to adopt a high fruit diet. Fruit is, after all, food that's been packaged up and portioned out by nature.
On an average day, I will bring 6-8 bananas to work, 3-4 oranges, 1-2 apples, a couple pears and really any fruit I can get my hand on. After, I eat all my fruit, I sit down to a salad. A very simple salad for me is romaine that I torn into bite size pieces by hand, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, raw ranch and raw pumpkin seeds. Other than tearing the romaine, nothing needs to be prepared. oh, the raw ranch is the one exception. It takes a little while to make (2 hours soak time and 10 minutes adding stuff to the blender), but once you make it, you have enough to last for a while.
Also, if I have a ripe avocado, I'll mix it up with onion, tomato and salt for simple guacamole. That takes a little time, but, it's SO worth it. Guacamole is by far my favorite raw dish.
Anyway, some ideas for you.
I don't do the smoothies either. The kale slows down my digestion system. Makes the fruit ferment and then, you know... gas. Most people do kale + fruit in the smoothie. Might as well call it a fart shake. (at least for my digestive system)
