:D Well everyone, I am all smiles tonight! I had the honor to met Alissa this evening and eat her wonderful cuisine prepared by her! It was so amazing guys! Alissa is just as sweet and beautiful in person as she is in her book and her videos. Sad to say, we got so busy eating and chatting, I didn't take as many pictures as I'd wanted to, but I did post 2 of them on the site, so check them out. The food was great! I brought my best friend along. She has never had any raw food- this was her first time! She practically licked the platter clean! We first had Alissa's onion dip with celery and carrots- guys, this dip was fabulous! We were literally fighting over who was going to get the last of it at our table! One of the ladies even took the cabbage bowl home to 'lick' later! Next was a roma tomato, mushroom, and asparagus salad soaked in basil and olive oil- YUMMY! Then came a Caesar salad- the dressing was great! It tasted like miso and pine nut. Then the main course, Eggplant parmasean with zuccini pasta and marinara!!!! OMG- so good, a little rich, but so good! Then for dessert we had cinnamon, date nut fudge with sliced strawberries- again, another HUGE winner! It was such a great, calming and relaxing evening- and meeting Alissa was so cool. I felt a little dorky because I didn't really know what to say to her, but she made us all feel so comfortable and welcome. She definitely emits a positive energy- and her smile literally lights up a room! It was just an all around great night! Just wanted to share my experience with all of you, and let you know that the wonderful Alissa we have come to love through the cyber world is only better and brighter in person- thank you Alissa for a wonderful evening! :D

Nah, am looking into moving to Oregon in a year or two. I lived up there for awile and not as "busy" as Cali is. :) lol some counties in Oregon have less people living in them then in the entire city of Wichita! Not sure yet but Ashland Oregon is where Victoria Boutenko and her family live. Looking at others to. But nothing stops me from visiting her and Dennis and even you guys as I travel thru moving up to Oregon.

Oh by the way Alissa got my ShapeShift from you yesterday, fast shipping ty. :)

It's never too late to come back Curtis!!!! Alissa is very worth it! :D

Feelingood,

Glad you had great time. The photos are nice.

I read on Alissa's other site that she is planning on coming back East in January. If my schedule allows, I too may have a chance to meet her.

Peace,

M.B.

Hey...do we have all those recipes in the book?? I don't think so. How about a recipe for the cinnamon fudge?

that would be so great to meet more of you from the boards!
Yep, you guys have them in the book. The first one was the onion dip - it is sooo good. I went to remove the red cabbage that it was served in and people wouldn’t let me take it off the table even though they looked empty to me!
The 2nd was the Caesar salad dressing served over a bowl of romaine
The 3rd one was the mushroom tomato salad and i added asparagus.
The 4th was the was the angel hair pasta an the eggplant parm
And the 5th was the walnut fudge served with strawberries.
I really can’t believe i didn’t take pictures! The red cabbage with the white onion dip was so pretty and some of the other stuff.
Anyway, all of it is in the book.
Bon a petite!

I wish I would of taken more pictures :( Everything was so beautiful and delicious... We were just having too much fun! The camera just kinda sat there, while I licked my platter :o Next time, I say after the food is gone, we turn out the lights, pull out the disco ball and party till the sun comes up! We could all sip on young coconuts and pass out from the enyme rush!

Oh, and Alissa, Robyn is such a cool dude! He was a pleasure to chat with as well, and his store was so neat! I spent like $70 while I browsed around... yikes! By the way, I'm still smiling... it's almost getting painful. :D
