Has anyone ended an extended fast with any kind of flush? ie: gallbladder flush? My friend is encouraging me to do a gallbladder flush after she had to have hers removed. Apparently you fast for several days and then consume olive oil or epsom salts. I am on day 25 of a 30 day juice feast. Would this be too harsh on my system? Or an ideal time?

They have found a highly inflame gallbladder in me and they wanted to get it removed immediately.
This happened last summer and i never had an attack. I took herbs to dissolve the stone. I was considering to do a liver cleanse, but i never did and i don't think i will after researching. It works for people, but i am not interested to take the Epsom salt etc... and now i know i can cleanse my organ without doing dramatic cleanse like this.
Do a lemon water every day. It is amazing for the liver.
Hope you find the answer you need.
All the best!

If you search the forum, you'll find discussion of use of herbs, such as chanca piedra, for gradually dissolving biliary deposits (e.g.: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?48992-Question-about-wrinkles&p=663109#post663109 ). You can use such herbs as an alternative to flushing, or as a preliminary step prior to flushing. Either way, I would personally steer clear of doing anything until you've recovered from your fast. Also, be aware of hypermagnesemia if considering a flush. Plenty of discussion on Curezone.com
