I've had a microscopic parasite for over ten years now, and this time around during my current raw juice fast, I'd like to incoporate some other products to kill those buggers as they are so resilient.
I even resorted to a couple drugs, the first one was mild...can't remember the name- didn't work. Then I tried Flaxyl. Flaxyl is a drug used by alcoholics as if they have any alcohol, it will make them puke and get deathly ill. I did not drink any alcohol and it made me get the worst migraine and puke my guts out. So I figured at that time (ten years ago) I was potentially creating too much alcohol in my body) (fermentation due to improper food combining? too acidic?) but I just don't want to resort to this.

Recently, I bought some Pau D'Arco powder from Frontier. I also have some Para Free from Young Living.

What have you tried that worked?

Have any of you heard of Micro Gone?

Thanks in advance,

Mary Kay

How about adding garlic to your juices?

Gods Herbs by Dr. RObert Morse. I also heard pineapple and pumpkin seeds work. Thai spicy food is supposed to kill them. Thats why you tend to see spicy foods close to the equator.

Grapefruit seed extract
Black Walnut tincture
Diatomaceous earth

DE is used by vets for pets/livestock, and I read from some that they use it in their family as well so I tried it as preventive maintenance. I do think GSE was causing me to release something but it may have been candida. Black walnut tincture can be applied as a poultice to the abdomen or taken internally, iirc. You'll want to do your own research.

Chapparal tea may be too. I was taking it prior to a recent fast and was convinced I began feeling better from it's cleansing effect. Not sure if it handles parasites, but it is high in saponins, and as such is supposed to be very cleansing for the blood and organs. the first time I tried it I made tea by steeping in hot water, then later found you could also take as a sun tea or just soaked in water, not heated, and more easily tolerate it's taste and effect. You might research it too to see about possible anti-parasitic properties.

Best Wishes.

Aleesha, thanks for the garlic idea --I already do consume garlic --but only in "socially tolerable amounts." Maybe someday I'll really up the dose. Should be harvesting my garlic real soon and still have plenty from last year.

Tracey, Have also done pumpkin seeds and regularly feed to my chickens --$$$$poiled brats! LOL....But I'm concerned about the sweetness of pineapple. I do thank you though.

Thank you all, however, I'm looking for something you have actually used that actually worked. Would be totally relevant to me if you had the testing done before and after to prove it. Might be a longshot though to find people who are as test-happy as I!

Oh, and Streetsurfer, I almost forgot----I couldn't remember what substance it was in alfalfa sprouts that was high, where it's recommended that you not eat pounds of alfalfa sprouts a day due to it....So looked it up and it was saponins. Interesting. Another reason alfalfa sprouts are so cleansing. This was a warning from a book I got in the late 80's, I believe called "Laurel's Kitchen."It still extolled the benefits, just said not to eat pounds of alfalfa sprouts a day.

Thanks again, going to make some more alfalfa sprouts as I'm out....LOL

Years ago I thought that if I took enough of the proper herbs then I could get rid of any/all parasites. Fast forward to today and my opinion on the subject is simply that the body must be clean of toxins before the parasites will fully leave. How I imagine it today is that parasites are simply the garbage crew that shows up when there's junk being consumed, I would even guess that the parasites are there eating cooked food particles even if that cooked food is steamed veggies. They also feed on garbage material that the body will release once a person begins eating clean.

I definitely think that herbs will help, but I would say that the herbs are only a fraction of what's needed. I feel that proper food, "raw plants", sunshine, exercise, sleep, water etc... are all necessary. All of these things will help the body detox, and once the accumulations are gone from the body the parasites will have nothing to feed on.

Again this is all just my opinion that I've come to through what I've experienced.
