Kombucha help needed

Does anyone make it regularly. My first attempt seems to have failed and I need to ask some questions.

I got a PM from a forum member who has made a lot of it and we have been sorting me out. I have to accept the fact that my first batch is vinegar and move on.

raw vinegar is a good thing though isn't it? I mean you can use it I think unless it tastes really nasty!

I am afraid that I was never able to handle vinegar but you have given me an idea. I will use it instead of apple cider vinegar to help to remove pesticides from non organic produce.
