Hi everyone! Two quick question.
I bought a 9-tray Excalibur Dehydrator last year and then I realized it is too big for just one person and it took up too much room in my small kitchen. I sold it and I'm looking for another one but the 4-tray is too much money for me right now. I work at a hardware store that only sells the round ones which I didn't really want at first. I want to get a round one now because they're cheaper and it will do for the time I remain in the house with the small kitchen.

So my question is how do the round ones work when making breads because I'd want them to be kind of square. And just in general making raw food recipes.

Also, does anyone have the 4-Tray Nesco Foor Dehydrator 425 W and know if it is good? Or even other dehydrators from this brand.

Thanks!
Kelly

I had a round one at the beginning but I could not remove trays to do high things. The one that you are looking at may be different. I found that my crackers were nicer from the round one but suspect that the temp may have been higher.

Look at the Nescos. They have round and square, and also temp controls.

Thanks, the only one my store could order was a round one so I ordered that one.

I have a round one, and I like it well enough. Breads and crackers are never square, but I don't mind. They all get digested anyway :P
