hi all, i am eating lots of oriental vegetables whole, not juiced. These are, bok choy, choy sum and similar. I eat alot of these, is too much of these a bad thing, can it harm me. I'm thinking 'no way can it hurt me.' Just want to be sure.

Just the words "too much" mean, it's "too much"..... No one here knows what "lots" means to you... my suggestion? Do some research (Google is your friend) on the benefits and harm (if any), large quantities of these foods can do.

They say that you should rotate your greens so as long as you have not been doing this for a long time you are fine.

Hi Sport :). I was just thinking about the same thing. SPinach is the only green that looks appealing right now. I am having it 3 -4 times a week in a smoothie. I do add a little parsley. So how much is too much when it comes to greens??? I am loving my spinach right now but I don't want any negative affects either.

It is said that you should get 4 or 5 % of your calories from them but I find it hard to do that. It would mean more than a pound of cos per day. I sometimes manage a pound but I can not do it every day.

Eat as varied a selection of greens as you can and eat as much as your body feels comfortable with. Your body will tell you if you eat "too much" but that amount will be different for you and me and everyone else.
Don't worry about it. Worry does more damage than lots of greens!
