This morning I was juicing for me & my hubby, and I was trying to stretch what we had available to juice. So I juiced pineapple, carrots, apple, celery, cucumber, and it didn't look like enough for both of us, so I had a big bowl of cherry tomatoes sitting on the table and I grabbed a couple of handfuls of those and threw in the juice, hoping it would taste ok. Wow, it made it such a beautiful color, and tastes sweet and delish. Just wanted to share.

Isn't it amazing that (it seems) everything you put through the juicer ends up tasting good?

Years ago I told my stepdaughter, "If you do well on your test at school, you can decide what fruits to put through the juicer." Well, she did well on her test and afterwards she informed me that she wanted, "Blueberry, peach, orange."

I thought, "Oh, no. That's going to be horrible." Up until that point, I was only juicing "traditional" stuff - i.e. grapefruits and oranges.

But I couldn't say no. I told her she could choose.

Of course, it was AMAZING. I have her to thank for making me try new combinations since then.

Yes, I love them in juice too!

Just make sure you use organic ones, otherwise you are sending all those health damaging chemicals directly into your blood!

I like fresh tomato in juices too but for years when tomato juice was something that came heat treated in a carton or jar I hated it!

I make a veggie juice with tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, green apples, poblano pepper, onion, garlic, sweet red peppers, celery ... If I happen to have broccoli, cabbage or other veggies, I'll add a bit of that too.

If I leave out the tomatoes, it is okay, but it is always better when those tomatoes are in there!
