So if you are like me its pretty tiring feeling "almost" fit. I am not overweight, I am not under weight, I am in shape, but I am not in the best shape I have been in nor am I in the best shape I would like to be in.

Basically I eat healthy but am not reaching my potential I know I can.

I finally after all this time, all these years and months and days of making choices to eat healthy foods and not junk foods that it is not only about what foods you choose, but how you eat them.

Do you sit down and eat so much food that you are so full, and even when you are so full you want to end the meal with something sweet like a raw chocolate pudding? Well that has been my difficulty in reaching my potential goal.

I eat too much in one sitting and don't allow my body the proper amount of time for digestion and therefore am placing stress on my system, not metabolizing food properly and converting the extra calories into fat.

Being conscious of this and writing on here with all of your support, I am aiming to see how different I feel after trying to manage this.

So for the next two weeks I am going to wait to eat in the morning until I feel truly hungry, have a small meal and a few hours later a small snack, etc etc. No more sitting down and gorging on healthy foods. Though they may be healthy, the amount I am eating in one eating is not allowing me to reach my goals.

I just got engaged two weeks ago, and I feel like now is the time to really kick my healthy lifestyle up a notch and try to reach that maximum potential of feeling light, fit, energized, firm, strong and healthy inside and out.
Any suggestions or comments please please please write them!!!!
Looking forward to all of your support!!! Ill write about my meals tomorrow! Tonight I go to sleep reading a good book and getting a good nights rest!
All the best raw foodies xoxoo

I think that you have a great attitude. If you are eating without regard to hunger or need, and you are feeling that this has become a road block on the way to your goals, then you are being proactive when you recognize the problem and decide to change. Be careful not to go from one extreme to the other. You are already eating great food; don't ruin it by starving yourself. All the best to you!!!

Fitness is as much about movement as it is about fuel. I don't see anything about movement in your post ~ or water.

Oh I definitely exercise and drink a lot of water, A LOT! I have started adding yoga into my routine as well, nightly, as a form of relaxation and meditation in the evening, so far so good.

I basically "know" what is best for me in my eating practices, its just putting it into full practice and being completely dedicated to it. Thank you Daisyhead for your positivity!!!! That was exactly what I am looking for to give me the added push! You guys are all so amazing on here, it truly does make a difference when people comment back to you :)....

I often turn to the forums for support as well. I am never disappointed. There are so many helpful, kind people with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have only a little raw experience (7 weeks). I don't have a ton of experience, but I am a good "cheerleader". :) Enjoy your journey, and congrats on your engagement. :)
