I've been waiting patiently for my juicer to be delivered. While I've been waiting it has given me the chance to read, read, read and get ready for the upcoming juice fast. This will be my first fast :cheer:

The more I read, the more questions I have. What does your typical food shopping order look like? I don't know how to judge how much of everything I will need so I'm going to buy a bunch of basics and see how far it takes me. I'm guessing it'll only end up being enough for a couple of days.

I've heard a very wide range of how much one should drink in a day. How much juice/water do you drink per day and why?

When you juice fast, what sort of cycle do you follow? Do you usually stick to one drink or do you mix it up?

What are your favorite blogs/books about juice fasting?

I did fruits in the morning green juices the rest of the day. It is up to you whatever you feel like. In the fasting section there is a list of favorite juices. That will give you some ideas.

My list for 3 days
3 bags organic apples
3 bags organic carrots
6 bags of celery
8-10 lemons
1-2 lbs of leafy greens ( spinach, Kale, or chard)
1 bag of oranges.
