For a great smoothie, try blending honey dew melon with lime juice. I call it a Mountain Dew Smoothie :)

Wow that sounds so good and refreshing and I have both in the frig.
can't wait to try it.

I blended watermelon, stevia and ice last week and it reminded me of
a slurpie, but not as syrupy sweet. my kids loved it.

Mountain Dew Smoothie

1/4 Honey Dew Melon
3 limes juiced

blended until smooth in a blender


Now you can "Do the Dew" and keep it raw!

I froze the honey dew melon this time before I added it to the blender for a Mountain Dew Blizzard :)

This looks excellent!! I told my wife about it who's not more than 40% raw, and she wants to try this really bad. Thanks for the post.

TimmyC, thanks for the reply. It really does taste like Mountain Dew. I wanted to add that I sweeten it a little with Agave. However, it is pretty sweet as is.

Just finished mine Samuel...thanks for the great recipe!!! It was sooo good, very refreshing and so easy. This will be a new regular treat for me! :D

bet this would be great frozen too, as in freezing honeydew melon balls, then blenderizing with the lime juice....wow! does that ever sound good! (I suggest freezing at home, gently and slowly, not the flash frozen commercial stuff - too damaging to the tissues and cells of the fruit.)
