Raw Foodists in Houston??

I'm new to raw foods, about 75% raw the past 2 months. I would love to know if there are others on a raw food diet in Houston?

Hi Mechele,

I don't live in Houston now, but I did grow up in Dallas and went to university in College Station. (Yes, an Aggie. ;) ) My best friend currently lives in Houston, and she has told me that there is a great vegetarian society (not quite sure of the name, but google it) that has dine-outs, so they may also have a raw faction, as many do. Also, she found a restaurant in Houston that has some raw dishes on the many, as well as cooked vegan dishes. Do you know of raw restaurants in your area? I can ask her about it and see what she says. I'd definitely start with the veggie groups in town, though. Coming from Texas myself, I know it can feel lonely if you're not at a steakhouse. But Houston is a big city, and there are certainly other raw fooders out there. Keep your eyes peeled. :D
