Aquatic Greens Spirulina/Chlorella

Anyone ever try Aquatic Greens: Spirulina/Chlorella tablets?

Label reads:

Serving size: 4 capsules

Organic Spirulina powder (arthospira platensis) 1400 mg

Organic Chlorella- broken wall cell (chlorella regularis) 1400 mg

Is this what I'm looking for in an algae supplement? Would it be beneficial to have a mix in one capsule? Would it be, at the least, ok?

If not, can you let me know where you get your Spirulina and Chlorella online and what you know about what is best? I want the best!

Lots of spirulina and chlorella products aren't really too great, so why not buy some of the best highly absorbable brands, eg..the special patented brand of chlorella that uses the `dyno mill' method to crack the cell wall. Lots of spirulina and chlorella companies will jump on the band wagon and promote their stuff, but why buy it if half of it passes through you?

I used a lot of spirilina until I saw the iron content. Our bodies do not simply rid themselves of iron, so we have to be careful not to get too much, especially those who no longer menstruate. I chose not to use it, though I know others use it a lot. I would like to learn more, though, because it helped me with a medical issue. "The dr.. was amazed!" LOL. he really was.

Interesting! You are the first person to mention a negative to me regarding spirilina!
