Man, that is a great deal! I have a vertical one..by Benriner, which I believe to be the best vertical one, but when I saw someone --can't remember his name - demo a horizontal Benriner on an old Kevin Gianni's show, I then wanted one of those! This one you've told us about is a horizontal one. The Benriner's were something like $80 for the horizontal and about $55 if I recall, for the vertical one. I'm being tempted! I'd like to see a video of one of these in action. Know of any?

Well, I just went and viewed some reviews and looked at some vids.....The thing I don't like about it is it ends up with a central plug/core-like piece of your veggie that doesn not get spiralized. Don't think? I'm gonna do it. I don't think the Benriner horizontal ends up with that plug inside, but am not 100% certain.

Walnutty, thanks for the reminder! I need you around to remind me of other things too! LOL. Now I don't suppose that for that price someone would care about the "plug" in the center that does not get spiralized, but in that vid you just showed, you can see the plug when she pulls out the unfinished spiralized cuke. Now for $24, if I didn't have a vertical one already, I'd jump on it--so I'm not disagreeing with you. But since I have one......I'm STILL deciding though!
