How many calories do you guys consume everyday on raw foods? Is 1200 enough?

I don't count calories. I eat until I'm satisfied. Is 1200 enough for you?

I have no idea how many calories are in anything.
So I have no concept at all of how many I eat. I find calories a weird system as it's inaccurate, a lot of effort and not all calories are even equal.
I probably eat quite a lot. I have really fast metabolism. The amount I eat is insane.

I don't count calories either. If my body tells me that I am hungry, I eat. I get too wrapped up in numbers, so I just stopped using them. I don't weigh myself anymore. I don't count calories. The only numbers I have to use are the ones measuring my blood glucose.

I do not believe 1200 is enough. I think females should get about 1800 as a MINIMUM and males should have about 2500 as a minimum.

^ Yeah but if you're not hungry and you're not losing horrible amounts of weight then I don't really see a problem.
Eat until you're satisfied. Your body isn't going to completely betray you to the point where you're emancipated if you're eating a good variety of food that's high in nutrients even if it is lower in calories.
Also different people of different sizes and metabolic rates will differ. Some people eat thousands, some people eat very few. I don't find calories overly significant so much as what you're eating and how it's affecting you.
EDIT: as a rough estimate via googling today I had about 600cals rounded up. That's not even really counting the fact that most of what I ate was juiced so I'm not sure that the calories of something juice are equal to it non juiced as obviously you're throwing away a good deal of the veg/fruit via pulp.
I don't eat that every day but you know, if I kept a toll of it all the time it would probably even out to about 1200 average. Maybe not even that... I have no idea.

Have you done research on RAW? Alissa's book recommends NOT counting calories; get it and read! You'll learn lots.
I KNOW I eat more than 1200 calories, especially on the days I do gourmet raw. On more fruit and veggie days it may not be the case. Doesn't MATTER.

Depends. lf you are living on a conventional raw vegan diet and not getting out in the sun and not meditating...probably not.
lf you are consuming a core diet of algaes, sea vegetables and sprouted greens...yes!
If you are a meditation expert...yes!
The key to know you are doing it right is when you have minimal calories and are still building muscle. For this to happen you need lots of fresh sprouts/algaes/sea vegetables (highest sources of amino acids) and exercise.

I need 2000 calories per day and I am a very small little granny. I do not think that 1200 is enough for anyone even if you never get out of bed all day.
