I love my new spiralizer. It is so easy to make zucchini pasta noodles. I have enjoyed very delicious zucchini pasta with raw marinara sauce for dinner the past two nights. Is there anything else that I could do with the spiralizer?

Thanks, Tracey. I'll have to try running cucumbers through the spiralizer. I think I saw a recipe somewhere for cucumber alfredo. That should give me some of the variety I've been looking for. Yes, please keep me posted if you try anything new with your spiralizer, and I'll do the same.

I love cucumber noodles, especially with an Asian style dressing! Rawdawg Rory uses spiralized carrots in a recipe he has on you tube. I love spiralizing all kinds of veggies! Just play with it and if you create something amazing...please share!

Hi walnutty ~ Have you tried the spiralized carrots? I tried sp'ing them once and they wouldn't spiralize. Probably because they weren't big enough around (?) I'll have to look up his video and see how he does it. Thanks for sharing this! *Ü*

I lied! So sorry...lol...
I just watched the video and he didn't spiralize them, so I must have done that on my own.

Here's another yummy sauce (an Italian one this time) that you could put over spiralized cucumbers or cucumber noodles.

Thanks for the links walnutty ~ I'll watch them :) I'll have to give sp'ing carrots another try. I've only tried the one time. They would be a fun addition ~

I have a mandolin with a ton of attachments mady by Boerner, Germany. The one I find I use the most is a 'matchstick' blade. It makes very small stips of anything you push over it (cuts really fast and clean, too). I do zuchinni and cukes the long way, thus avoiding the seeds; any size works. Its great! I have a sprirooli too, but almost never take it out anymore!

Hi k8sl8 ~ Would you post a URL to the mandoline you have? I just checked Amazon and there are so many by Boerner - thanks in advance!

Spirolize Sweet Potatoes. I cut a slit halfway down the center so that it breaks up the noodles into shorter peices. I put a little agave or raw maple syrup and some raisens or dried cranberries and put into the dehydrator for about a half an hour. For an extra little zip diakon radishes are yummy when they are good and fresh. You can sprinkle on any salad for flavor and look:heart:

I have the v-slicer Boerner Mandolin, but purchased it with the bowl, criss-cut blades and this julienne slicer as a "deal". I didn't see the julienne separate on Amazon... so just did a search for it. It's GREAT.
