I've been looking into maca and I'm wondering if sun dried maca is still considered a raw food.

Many sources say that cooked or sun dried is best. Of course, I'm here to hear from you all because I simply don't know and have never used it.

If you use maca, can you please let me know how you started and where you are now with dosage and if some brands are better than others.

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and am trying to balance my hormones.

Thank you all in advance!

I can't believe the gurus aren't chiming in here!

I know that SOMEONE has to know.

Please share if you do!

Thank you!

If it is truly sun dry, then yes it is raw.

Maca is known to be great with the hormone. I no longer supplement but if you feel it cans help you, go for it.

I buy Nutiva's Raw maca powder. I believe it is raw and use it in my smoothies almost daily. I have some hormone inbalances I'm working on and I love the taste of maca.
